The amount of the drug at the absorption site decreases at a rate dependent on the absorption rate constant.

The amount of the drug in the body increases initially then decreases at rates dependent on the absorption rate constant and the elimination rate constant.

The drug excreted increases until all the absorbed drug is eliminated.
